Using Nonverbal and Verbal Interventions To Influence Students To Behave Appropriately
Within the classroom, teachers encounter a range of student behaviors. If not addressed appropriately, these behaviors can become disruptive and time-consuming. Teachers sometimes respond in ways that do not align with the nature of the behavior. This job aid serves as a reference for teachers to use throughout the day, with the goal of internalizing effective interventions that support a positive learning enviroment where students feel respected and understand that their teachers are there to support them.
